Covid-19 的疫情使得全世界都停了下來，但也是 D.G. 重新調整步伐、沉澱自我的新契機，並於疫情期間來台定居。 D.G. 具有義大利、印尼與華人的血統，長期旅居各國，深受世界各地不同文化的影響，也使他擁有多元的文化背景，以及與眾不同的人生經驗。

The Covid-19 pandemic brought the whole world to a standstill, but for D.G., it also became an opportunity to reevaluate his path, rediscover himself, and eventually settle down in Taiwan during this challenging period. With a diverse heritage comprising Italian, Indonesian, and Chinese origins, D.G. has lived in various countries for an extended period, deeply influenced by the diverse cultures around the world, granting him a unique multicultural background and extraordinary life experiences.

D.G. 將過去所學、所領悟的人生歷程，捕捉難以忘懷的片刻，轉化成為自己的藝術創作，以再現當時的微妙心境，為我們帶來意想不到的驚喜與趣味。那些旅途中的場景一一浮現在眼前，他以充滿創作能量的方式，將每一幕心靈場景轉化成一幅幅美麗的圖畫，並運用優美的文字，以神話小說的形式共同呈現。

Drawing from his past learning and profound understanding of life, D.G. captures unforgettable moments and transforms them into his artistic creations, presenting the subtle states of mind that once existed. The outcome is filled with unexpected surprises and delightful charms. Scenes from his journeys come alive before our eyes as he harnesses his creative energy to translate each soulful experience into beautiful paintings and intertwines them with graceful words, shaping them into mythological tales.

睜開心靈之眼，追溯生命的本質與價值

D.G. 以藝術文化作為橋樑，藉此感受日常的幸福。藝術究竟在日常生活中扮演什麼樣的角色？只需要敞開心胸、睜開心靈之眼，接受藝術所帶來的感官體驗，你的心境自然會產生改變。正如同以上這幅《巨大的渺小》所蘊含的意義：當我們藉由藝術明白宇宙與生命的關係時，才會得到內心的喜悅和幸福。喜樂從不是向外去尋找，而是向內心探問，才能追溯生命的本質與價值。

D.G. uses art and culture as a bridge to experience everyday happiness. What role does art play in our daily lives? Simply open your heart, open the eye of the soul, and embrace the sensory experiences that art brings; your mindset will naturally undergo a transformation. Just like the meaning conveyed in the artwork "The Vastness of the Minuscule": it is only through art that we come to understand the connection between the universe and life, leading to inner joy and happiness. True joy is not found externally but discovered by exploring within, allowing us to trace the essence and value of life.

物物者‧非物：探索「道」的非物質性

Nefelibata：Exploring the Non-Materiality of the "Dao"

展覽名稱「物物者‧非物」表達了「道」的非物質性，並以道為核心，探索人與自然、人與自我之間的關係，展示了生命的渺小以及人類在宇宙中的定位。 D.G. 將以眾多畫作表達對自然的感受與體會，並在東西文化的交匯下，帶領觀者從全新的視角認識自我與世界。此外，本展覽亦以 Nefelibata 作為主題，在葡萄牙語中意指「在雲中漫步的人」，旨在期望觀者跳脫框架，重新定義思考與生活並忠於自我。透過 D.G. 獨特的視角，進一步思考自我與自然的關係，並勉勵觀者找回最初的自我。

The exhibition title, Nefelibata, expresses the non-material essence of the "Dao," with the "Dao" being at its core. It delves into the relationship between humans and nature, as well as the relationship between individuals and their inner selves, showcasing the insignificance of life and humanity's position in the universe. D.G. will use numerous artworks to convey his perception and experiences of nature, guiding viewers to see themselves and the world from a fresh perspective at the convergence of Eastern and Western cultures. Moreover, the exhibition carries the theme of "Nefelibata," a Portuguese term meaning "cloud walker," aiming to encourage viewers to break free from conventional frameworks, redefine their thoughts and lives, and remain true to themselves. Through D.G.'s unique perspective, it encourages further contemplation of the relationship between the self and nature, inspiring viewers to reconnect with their original selves.

本次的 D.G. Lampaulus 2023 年台北個展，以「物物者‧非物」來提煉創作中對於東方哲學中的世界觀，希冀觀者能夠透過作品轉化為Nefelibata──超越傳統思維的探索者，超越物質，超越盈虛！

In D.G. Lampaulus' 2023 Taipei Solo Exhibition, "Nefelibata," the essence of the Eastern philosophy is distilled, hoping that viewers can transform through the artworks and become "Nefelibata" - explorers who transcend conventional thinking, moving beyond materiality, and transcending the realm of appearance!

本次展覽現場也安排了兩場有趣的說書活動。第一場將於 9月10日（日）下午 3:00 至 4:00 舉辦「D.G. 說書畫畫趣」活動，適合親子一同前來體驗，在聽完《川里堤與路西法 Trinity & Lucifer 》的說書之後，小朋友可以選擇自己喜歡的角色，用畫紙來著色，發揮天馬行空的創意完成自己的畫作。

The exhibition also includes two engaging storytelling events. The first event, "D.G. Storytelling & Painting Fun", will take place on September 10th (Sunday) from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Suitable for families, the event invites children and parents to experience the storytelling of " Trinity & Lucifer. " After the storytelling, children can choose their favorite characters and use drawing paper to color them, unleashing their creative imagination to complete their artwork.

另外，第二場將於 9月17日（日）下午 3:00 至 4:00 舉辦「D.G. 玩味讀劇」活動，適合大朋友前來參加，通過讀劇和扮演角色的方式，一起進入 D.G. 的創作世界，並激發想像力，用聲音呈現出鮮活的角色人物，進行有趣的現場互動。以上兩場活動出席的來賓皆可獲得精美小禮，名額有限，敬請把握時間報名！

Additionally, the second event, "D.G. Playful Reading & Acting", will be held on September 17th (Sunday) from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Suited for adults, this event involves reading and acting out scenes from D.G.'s creations, immersing participants in his creative world and stimulating their imagination. By presenting vivid character portrayals through sound, the event fosters interactive and enjoyable experiences. Both events offer exquisite small gifts for attendees, but seats are limited, so early registration is encouraged!
